Welcome to Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department

Pharmaceutical Chemistry forms the backbone of pharmaceutical research and drug development. The department trains undergraduate and postgraduate students in modern analytical and synthetic techniques required by the pharmaceutical industry.

Students gain practical exposure to HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Fluorimetry, Flame Photometry, Electrophoresis and various analytical instruments while following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

The department actively participates in analytical method development, validation, impurity profiling, stability studies and characterization of pharmaceutical substances with guidance from experienced faculty members.
