Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) is a postgraduate course in the field of pharmacy. This course deals with the aspects related with pharmacy. It is concerned with the division of health and chemical science which ensures the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drug. The duration of Master of Pharmacy [M.Pharm] is 2 years spread over four semesters.

Programme Outcomes-Pharmaceutical Analysis

PO No. Description
PO-1Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Students will have strong knowledge and skills for analysis of pharmaceutical drugs, dosage forms, excipients, food & cosmetics and ability to apply them in research and development.
PO-2Core Competence: Students will be competent in GMP, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Analysis and statistical evaluation of data required in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
PO-3Investigation of Complex Research Problem: Students will be able to solve complex analytical and research problems related to drug and impurity analysis.
PO-4Pharmacy Professionalism and Ethics: Students will be inculcated with professional and ethical values with respect to pharmacy profession and effective communication skills.
PO-5Lifelong Learning: Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change. Self-assess and use feedback effectively from others to identify learning needs and satisfy these needs on an ongoing basis.

PSO-1 Application of Analytical Knowledge: Apply fundamental knowledge and skills in analyzing bulk drug, dosage forms, drugs in biological fluids, drug impurities, food materials, cosmetics and herbals using principles of analysis.
PSO-2 Professional & Ethical Practice: Apply knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, Validation, and regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical industry ethically and professionally.

PO-1Pharmaceutics Knowledge: Design and investigate drug-based potential dosage forms and drug delivery systems as per needs and specifications in Pharmaceutical Industries and marketing.
PO-2Core Competency: Analyse approved drugs and dosage forms using modern analytical tools, determine biopharmaceutical parameters and establish in vitro-in vivo correlation.
PO-3Modern Tools Usage: Use modern pharmaceutical tools to optimize pharmaceutical products for total quality management and safety addressing IPR and regulatory guidelines.
PO-4Investigation of Formulation Problems: Identify problems with conventional therapy, design novel formulations to overcome those issues, with appropriate technology and pharmaceutical aids.
PO-5Pharmacy Professionalism and Ethics: Students will be inculcated with professional and ethical values with respect to pharmacy profession and effective communication skills.
